I am so excited for my 19th year of teaching and my 3rd year in first grade as your child's teacher! We are going to have a fantastic year getting to know each other! I look forward to building a relationship with each of you to support your child at home and at school.
This blog is my tool to communicate with you all what we are doing here at school. I hope you enjoy it as much as I love doing it! You will find weekly information about what your child is learning at school, tips for your support at home, upcoming activities in our room and at Clear Creek Elementary, websites and games for your child to enjoy, our class Scholastic site to order books, and lastly many pictures of your child enjoying our classroom activities!
Who can see the blog? You, your child, and outside family members are welcome to enjoy our classroom activities! Please let me know if there is an issue with your child's picture being on my blog.

Birthday celebrations! Instead of sending in birthday treats, feel free to send in one of the optional choices below:
- Individual treat bags passed out at the end of the day-We are staying away from food items due to allergies. You are welcome to put a piece of candy such as; smarties, suckers, tootsie roll pops, bubble gum in a trinket bag with little trinkets like a pencil, bracelet, sticker. Please don't feel like you have to send in anything.
